Dispute resolution
Having an ability to recognise and analyse complex commercial issues, we at ADA have acknowledged that many of our investigations will require us to enter into legal and technical areas.
Consequently, our senior advisors have all supplemented their core expertise by undertaking specific training in appropriate areas of the law, arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, enabling us to provide effective support and advice, whatever the nature of the dispute.
The following are just some of the areas in which we are qualified to operate:
Mediation
We have worked with over 20 building construction companies through a process of mediation, helping two parties resolve their differences without the costs of formal proceedings. The senior members of our team are qualified mediators and are able to provide an impartial view to a wide range of disputes that regularly occur during construction projects.
Adjudication
We are qualified to assist with the preparation for adjudication, the preparation of pleadings and defence, acting as referring party representative and acting as responding party representative. We work together with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and have acted on behalf of the claimant and respondent. We have worked on over 100 cases.
Arbitration
We have many years of experience of working with clients as arbitrator, assisting with the preparation of pleadings and defence.
Litigation
We offer a pre-action and protocol service to solicitors in order to establish the claim and details contained therein.
Expert determination
Our team are qualified to act in the Forum of Expert Determination.Expert witness
