Dave Armstrong and Bob Davis met in 1988 while working for Highpoint Rendel, Dave in Newcastle and Bob in Glasgow. They worked together on a number of projects and found they had immediate rapport with shared values of diligence and professionalism. Add to this the common interests of golf and football, it is not surprising that the partnership extended beyond the sphere of work. The two then worked together again at SLP in Middlesborough until Bob decided that he would become a self employed consultant in 1996, Dave followed in 1998. In 1999 the two were taking a drinks break opposite the Royal Courts of Justice in London following a hard day's work when the decision was finally made that they should work together on a permanent basis and ADA was formed.
After continuing to work together towards the new millennium in the shadow of Middlesbrough Football Club's Riverside Stadium completing an assignment for Odebrecht Oil & Gas, ADA moved its operation to Stokesley, nestled at the foot of the North Yorkshire moors in 2000. This remains the head office of ADA to this day.
Dave and Bob have worked tirelessly to develop the business and ADA is now a hugely successful consultancy organisation operating across the oil, gas and construction industries. ADA now employs 14 consultants who work in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Its second office was opened at Thorpe Business Park, Leeds in 2006 and such has been the successful growth of the business terms of numbers and breath of services provided that a move to larger office accommodation on the park was completed in June 2008.
ADA has strategic plans to continue its growth by providing excellent customer service and building its team of loyal and highly qualified specialists working around the world.
